Payment should be made only after receiving confirmation from the Coordinator, SAIF after examination of the information provided in the sample registration form. The details of E-transfer may kindly be updated in your sample registration form at SAIF Portal.

Terms and conditions to the end users

  1. The analytical instruments/equipment of CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysore, listed under AnalytiCSIR/I-STEM/SAIF Portals is utilized only for samples analysis.
  2. The analysis of food samples, comprising Agri-based foods, Plants and Allied food materials only will be undertaken. Decision to accept or reject the sample is at the discretion of the Management.
  3. The Customer/Researcher shall ensure that the samples are free from contaminations, radioactive materials, toxic, hazardous substances and sample does not require special precaution while handling and shall provide an undertaking / declaration regarding this.
  4. The Customer/Researcher shall provide the completely prepared samples as per the standard protocol and ready for injection / measurement at the respective instrument. The Protocol/Research Paper/Guidelines followed by the Researchers for sample preparation has to be provided for verification prior to the analysis.
  5. The Customer/Researcher needs to choose the appropriate Analytical Instruments/Equipment and pay the analysis charges online inclusive of GST.
  6. The results will be provided to the Customer/Researcher in the form of raw data/chromatogram without any inferences/interpretation and it will be available up to 30 days from the date of analysis.
  7. The request will be closed after analysis in a month time and no queries will be answered after that.
  8. The Facility is available for the Researchers (Students/Faculty of Universities/ National Laboratories) and also for Industries and Commercial Samples, as per the charges listed on these portals.
  9. Please Note: If the customer requires complete comprehensive analysis of samples, i.e., starting from sample preparation to interpretation of data, then they have to contact; The Head/Coordinator, Customer Service Cell, Food Safety & Analytical Quality Control Laboratory, CSIR-CFTRI, Mysore-570020, Telephone: 0821-2514972, E-Mail: csc@cftri.res.in.
  10. All Researchers (Students/Faculty of Universities/ National Laboratories) shall submit the authorization letter from the Guide/ Supervisor/ Head of the Department, along with the properly prepared sample.
  11. All Customers/Researchers have to submit the declaration as "the content of the report is meant for our information only, and contents of this report shall not be used for advertisement, evidence, litigation or quote as certificate to third party".
  12. The Customers/Researchers may acknowledge the services rendered by Central Instruments Facility and Services (CIFS), CSIR-CFTRI, Mysore, in their publication.
